Introduction

Theoretical education and practical skills are two assets for young people that provide a perspective of adequate employment. The Association of Dual Education brings together legal entities that combine their strengths for the potential of young people.

The main mission of the Association of Dual Education is the realization, support and development of the system of dual education in Slovakia, with the emphasis to support the establishment of an effective and functioning system of dual education at the level of public and private education as well as individual projects carrying the elements of dual education system.

The Association of Dual Education is a platform for dialogue on solutions, a platform of good practice examples and a source of motivation and inspiration for all who participate in dual education.

Who we are?

 

The Association of Dual Education focuses on the realization, support and development of dual education in the Slovak Republic, with the emphasis to support the establishment of an effective and functioning system of dual education at the level of state, self-governing and private education.

Another ambition of the Association of Dual Education is to support individual projects carrying the elements of dual education and cross-border cooperation and, finally, to establish and maintain an interaction in order to exchange information, communicate, support and realize the interests of members of the association towards state authorities and organizations, bearers of education, employers, associations of profession, interest organizations, non-profit organizations and other third parties.

What we do?

  • perform activities in the field of extracurricular education
  • perform activities aimed at implementation of the elements of dual education in the Slovak Republic
  • ensure the realization of support programs for entities implementing the elements of dual education
  • identify and analyse the barriers to the development of dual education
  • prepare proposals to remove barriers to the dual education
  • prepare legislation drafts implementing the elements of dual education
  • ensure the realization of support programs for the development of dual education in the individual regions of the Slovak Republic, while cooperating with regional organizations focused on the support of dual education
  • support the development of dual education through dual education support programs and financial repayable and non-repayable contributions, distributed under these programs
  • ensure the development of the dual education sector by informing, publicizing, educating and building public relations
  • promote and advocate the legitimate interests of members of the association
  • provide contacts with institutions and cooperation with state authorities and organizations aimed at implementing the elements of dual education in the Slovak Republic
  • provide institutional international contacts and cooperation with organizations with similar purpose
  • conduct research and development in the field of Social and Human sciences

Members

The members of the association are the founders who have concluded a founding agreement by which the association was founded, and legal entities that have freely and voluntarily decided to join the association, have agreed to these legal Terms & Conditions and their membership has been approved in accordance to the Terms & Conditions.

Any legal entity whose purpose and aim is to support dual education in the Slovak Republic can become a member of the association. The Condition to become a member and for the membership duration is, that the legal entity, which is to become a member of the association or is already a member of the association, helps to meet the purpose of the association and respects the subject of the association activities.

Membership in ADE is open to entities that are

  • Establishing schools
  • Dealing with dual education
  • Dealing with vocational (professional) education and training
  • Government body (State administration) (public administration is both state administration and local authority)
  • Associating organizations of profession
  • Local (district) authority and Regional authority
  • Providing and implementing active labour market measures
  • Providing consulting and education for the labour market
  • Providing consulting and education in lifelong education
  • Providing human resources management
  • Providing consulting and training for job applicants and job candidates and employees
  • Providing consulting and services in the field of human resources management and development
  • Involved in research, development and projection of information and communication technologies for HR and personnel costs purposes
  • Involved in research into gender equality of men and women, working conditions, labour economics, labour productivity, human factor, remuneration.
